Adam is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a career focusing on the international resource sector. He also co-owns and operates Aunt Sarah's Chocolate Shop and Sweet Rock Ice Cream in Trinity, Newfoundland. Adam graduated from Queen's University in 2001 and earned his Chartered Accountant designation while working for Ernst & Young LLP. He is a professional chocolatier and completed the Ice Cream Technology Short Course at the University of Guelph.
Diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma in 2019, Adam underwent gamma knife radiosurgery in December 2021. ANAC is the key source of information, medical research and support for Adam and he is grateful for the opportunity to serve on its board.
